DJI Launches Online Hasselblad Store in Germany

Just over two years ago, Chinese drone maker DJI purchased Hasselblad as part of a global move to build on the quality of their drone and gimbal cameras.  Although DJI dominates the drone business, with oer 70% market share, it’s also know for professional camera rigs used in video production ranging to TV to blockbuster movies.

And we’re already seeing new life being breathed into the Hasselblad brand with a more robust online presence and a range of new products.

Now Hasselblad is launching an online store in Germany, the first of many to come as part of a larger roll-out.

DJI will no doubt be leveraging off its own successful DJI Store where the majority of it’s customers purchase drones, gimbals, accessories and more.

“The launch of the ‘Hasselblad Store’ is one of our core initiatives derived from our strategy that focuses on not only making our products more accessible to photographers seeking hands on experience with the Hasselblad product line-up, but also to inspire fans with great images and stories” says Hasselblad Marketing Manager Bronius Rudnickas.

The Hasselblad Store is currently available to most of Europe, USA, Canada, and China. The website indicates Middle East and the rest of Asia are “coming soon”.

DJI’s latest drone, the 20 megapixel Mavic 2 Pro is the first to use a Hasselblad camera.
