Aquatech Releases Underwater Housing for Hasselblad X1D II 50C

Hasselblad has collaborated with AquaTech to expand the capability of the X1D II 50C camera by launching a new waterproof housing.

The AquaTech REFLEX Water Housing for the Hasselblad X1D II 50C is a beefy piece of hardware (it weighs 3.52 lbs) that provides serious protection for your X1D down to 33 feet.

Designed to allow use of all current XCD lenses, the REFLEX Water Housing finally lets capture a whole new world with your Hasselblad.

From Hasselblad’s website:

“Balancing maximum strength and minimal weight, the glass-filled polycarbonate construction combines controls made from 316 stainless steel, hard anodised aluminum and high strength plastics for a superior tactile feel and easy control while simultaneously ensuring extreme protection against saltwater and corrosion.”

The REFLEX Water Housing for the Hasselblad X1D II 50C is available exclusively on AquaTech’s website and retails for US$1695.  It’s in stock and ships immediately.

Founded in 1998, AquaTech is a leader in the design and manufacture of photographic accessories used in action water sports, fashion, advertising and lifestyle.

While you’re at the AquaTech website, be sure to check out their Ambassadors page. From there you’ll find all new sources of inspiration for shooting with any camera.
